Create your first form with AI
Describe what you need in plain English, approve the outline the AI proposes, then watch it build the form.
Creating a form with Spiceform happens in two stages. First you describe what you need and the AI proposes an outline — the list of questions it intends to ask. You edit that outline until it's right, and only then does it build the form. The extra step exists because changing a question in an outline takes a second, while changing it in a finished form takes several.
Step-by-step guide
- 1From the Dashboard, click "Create". This opens the create page, headed "Describe the form you need".
- 2Type a description of your form. Be as specific as you like — for example: "A customer feedback survey for a SaaS product with NPS, a rating question, and a long-text field for suggestions." You can also attach a PDF, DOC, TXT or image and the outline will be built from that instead.
- 3Click "Plan my form". Within a few seconds you land on "Plan your form", which lists every question the AI intends to ask.
- 4Edit the outline until you're happy with it: drag a question by its handle to reorder it, change its answer type from the dropdown beside it, or delete it. "Add question", "Add welcome screen" and "Add ending screen" add rows, and a row you leave blank is one the AI will write for you.
- 5Adjust the settings on the left if you want to: the number of questions, how much text each one gets, tone, output language, layout, theme, images and your logo. The "Additional instructions" box on the right is for anything else the AI should know.
- 6Click "Build my form". The button shows what the build costs in credits. You'll watch the form being written question by question, then land in the builder ready to edit.
- 7Click "Preview" in the top bar to see exactly what respondents will experience.
- 8When you're happy, use the Share tab to copy the link, generate a QR code, or grab an embed snippet.
The build follows your outline exactly, so the outline is where to be picky. If a question is wrong or missing, fix it there rather than after the form exists.
What the AI generates
- •Questions — with the correct field type, placeholder text, and required/optional flags.
- •Logic jumps — if your description implies branching ("if they rate below 5, ask why"), the AI will wire it up.
- •Theme — colors and fonts are selected based on the tone of your description, and you can pick a different one in the plan settings.
- •Welcome & Ending screens — with contextual copy that matches your use case.
You can refine anything afterwards from the Properties sidebar on the right, or by clicking "Agent" in the top bar and asking for changes in plain language — "change the theme to dark", "add a phone number field after question 3". The Agent proposes its changes for you to accept; it never applies them on its own.
